   Does anyone know the name of the song/group that was featured in episode 1 of Gavin & Stacey, I think the title was something like “moving onto better things”, there was just a snatch of it just before Gavin and smiffy meet the 2 girls for the 1st time in London.

    I re-watched Ep 1×05 last night and during the wedding fair they play KT Tunstall “Suddenly I See”

    Noticed it was missing off this list.

    One thing I will hand to them – they do a great job of having all the songs from UK-based artists (even those that are cross-over hits here in the US).

    pretty sure it’s a 90s britpop era song, bit later perhaps, and not knowing is doing my head in!

    Definately not Klaxons, really think it’s older than Hard-fi.

    The tune at the end of the 30 March episode (that sweet, sweetcorn moment) – any ideas – sounds like a 70’s soul number, but can’t get the tune any further – almost sounds like the ‘feels mighty real’ intro, but I’m clutching at straws….HELP!

    Sami – The song when G and S are in their car on the way to view the flat is Song with a Mission by The Sounds from 2006. I can’t remember which song was playing when Bryn and Nessa arrived at the coach – I’ll watch again and see if I know it.
