Alison Steadman revealed on THIS MORNING that series 3 begins on 26 November.
No word from the BBC Press Office yet, so hold fire on the celebrations.
The DVDs (Which you can see, now have new cover artwork) still show as available on 7 December, which if that is correct, suggests they’ll be showing all the episodes in one week?
I think it’s more likely they want to end it over Christmas.

i hope a series 4 is going to be sorted as im 45 and think since my wife got me into watching the complete series that its brilliant best ive seen in ages if im honest,and i am not into stuff like this, i normally watch dvds but i just bought the complete series from tesco today as i like it that much.
i mean come on guys its new original.well acted throughout,has great charaters in it.
my wife watches it every night on our sky recorder.
be ashame to not carry on with something as unique as this in our opinion.
and we would love to hear if there is any plans to do another series as i cant find any information as to wether your going to or not.
if not it seems ashame to just leave something as great as this on the sideline like they did with primeval and i loved those a real lot if im being honest,me and my young son got ready on the settee every saturday with our crisps and pop to cuddle up and watch it.
in our eyes once something good is produced after 3 series they take it away.
come on guys dont be another primeval group and leave us with no hope of another series best thing ive seen in ages and im a funny buger as to what i watch.

totally agree – come on guys, you could keep this series going for years, there is so much you could film.
as wayne above, my son insists on watch Gavin and Tracey every night before bed, and then asks for it in the morning too – and guess what its sat lunchtime and he is asking me to put it on again.
come on guys, do series 4.
