digitalspy reported the head of BBC One, Jay Hunt, said
“I talked to Ruth and James a lot about Gavin & Stacey, We’ve got no immediate plans to bring it back. I’m not only a huge fan of the show myself, but I know audiences in their millions loved it last Christmas. So no immediate plans, but I’d certainly say ‘never say never’.”
Hope there is more in the future because the show is wicked
I want more! This is one of the best shows ever. I wish I could get it on Bluray but I don’t think UK Blurays will work in the US.
BRING IT BACK!!! My husband, friends and I all LOOOVED it, as did my family in the states, when they could understand the accents lol. PLEEEZE!!! It’s an awesome show!!! And I’m not even Welsh……
Oh my God I cant believe its over!!!! I loved this program so much!!! There should definitely be another series!!! I think Smithy and Nessa should get married and have another child, Bryn should fall in love with a new lady ect….! Even if you cant bring a whole series back you should definitely do several specials!!!!

Please please please let that not be the end of Gavin & Stacey. My whole family completley love it! It would have to be the best show EVER, the characters are all brilliant! I am a brit living in NZ and the show is always in my dvd player for when I get home sick! Cant wait to go to ‘Barry’s (!) Island’ when I next return home!!!

how’s this for rumour starting, I live in a village on the outskirts of Cardiff, my neighbour in the flat above me has been asked by our landlord if he would move out of his flat for 2 weeks, as a film crew were interested in finding a flat overlooking a car park, which ours do, the landlord has stated that someone in the locations crew said it was for G&S, at first we put it down to some sort of doggie dealing by the landlord, but the following day our local pub landlady, just across the road from our flats said they were approached by “a film crew” interested in using the flat above the pub because it overlooked a car park ??? Figure that one out
A show with this kind of following deserves a longer life. At least one more series PLEASE!
to be honest youse should bring back the show with the death of doris and the birth of gavin and staceys child as that would be really great come back and make a really great series.there are many paople who want this show to come to come back on.and see how gavin and stacey are gettn on with there child. its worth bring the show back and the ratings will be outstanding,i have devoted my life to this program i love it ,its so amazing ,from your biggest fan connor collins.
Come on mun! We need a laugh back on the t.v instead of all these reality t.v shows (which are a load of depressing rubbish). There is nothing on t.v any more that you can have a right good laugh at. Well me and wife only got into this about 4 weeks ago and watched every episode in 3 days wow fantastic is all i can say i really hope there is more.
OMG!!! Gavin and Stacey has to come back,, I have 6 of the box sets because I watch them so much I have too buy new ones. At the end of series three Stacey if pregnant so it needs to come back for her to have the baby becuase it would be amasing to see Gavin and Stacey as parents and Pamela and Michael as Grandparents. Ruth and James PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING IT BACK WE NEED IT!!!!!! xxxx
I have only just started watching Gavin and Stacey, my husband and I are hooked. Bring it back pleeease. Being Welsh we can relate to the Welsh humour. All the characters are awesome.

Whilst we have not “devoted our lives” to the show (as some below have done
we absolutely came to adore and care about the chracters in G&S. Just learning that it is not returning is truly disappointing as I feel it has a lot of life left and apparently a lot of devoted fans. Every character (actor) on the show was brilliant and we will miss them and their antics very much!
i would love there to be a 4th series as we dont no how stacey will be with baby and what about ness and smithy!!!!! theres got to be more plz come on!!!!!!
